Nursery to P1 Transition Project - Now Available‼️🧸💕

This is an immersive experience where pre-schoolers will have the opportunity to collaborate with current P1 pupils and take part in transition activities that are contextualised through Bear and links to the Meta Skills. As always you do not need our bear to participate. Any bear will do! (Although we do think ours is extra special! 😉 🧸💕)

 

This is an 8 week project where you can cover all weeks or select the weeks/activities that work for your setting. Of course you can also make your own adaptions too! This will allow for true flexibility and personalisation.

 

This project starts with a very special letter from Bear to both the nursery and P1 classes, where Bear will share his plan to set collaborative 'Beartastic' missions over the coming weeks! This will culminate in a Teddy Bears' Picnic in the final week, after completing all the 'mission possibles!' This is when the children will finally meet their new class Bear who will join them in the new academic year! Completing the missions will create a connection between the participating children and their class bear who will continue to support them to build a growth mindset and resilience throughout their time at primary school, if you choose to continue on your Bearing Up Journey as a class/school. Which we hope you do! 🥰 There are already resources available to support this growth beyond P1.
