Introducing your ‘Inner Teddy Bear’ and ‘Inner Teddy Bear’s Hearts’ 🧸💕
Bear has an adoption certificate (pdf that can be sent to you for free). There will be a space to name your bear. You may want to make this a whole school/class event and have a suggestion box and vote? Or maybe you/or your class will come up with another idea personal to your school? (Please share if you do!)
Get your wider community involved in making enough hearts (knitted or crocheted) for each child and their teacher(s) to have their very own special ‘Inner teddy bear heart.’ (If you have a support staff member who works regularly in your class with the children make sure you include them too! 💚 No one participating should be left without their ‘inner teddy bear heart!’ 💔😢
There is also a short growth mindset story and promise available in pdf format for free to read (in child friendly speak) to share the mindset behind the project and encourage children to embrace it with their heart, mind and soul!
The new book helps further contextualise and embed bear into your classroom and wider school environment. You can purchase bear (with his mini rucksack and extras) and book here but of course any bear will do too!
