Has anyone seen Angus?

He is a much loved companion and was posted to the Leith Toy Hospital on Millhill via EVRI. Evri attempted delivery after hours on the 14th April and took it away again. They dropped it off at a parcel shop on Musselburgh high street. Evri say they picked it up the next day with a view to redelivering it, but then lost it. They say they have done an exhaustive search and won't be looking any further.

The owner is an elderly lady called Gill who is absolutely devastated by the loss. She was getting him restored in memory of her of her late husband and can't sleep for crying.

Has anyone seen Angus, or a parcel that looks like that? It would mean so much to Gill if he could be returned to her.

UPDATE: ANGUS IS BACK at Leith Toy Hospital!

We're so touched by all the kind sentiments and thank you so much to everyone who spread the word and helped with the search! In the end it was lovely Avril from the East Lothian Courier who managed to scare Evri into getting off their bottoms to look.

Before we got the chance to send out one of our bears we heard the happy news that Angus had finally made it to the Toy Hospital after his misadventures! The children I teach were so invested when I told them about Angus and Gill’s story that they made cards with letters inside and wanted Gill to have the twin brother of their class bear 😉 to look after Gill until Angus returns (and then he can also be a friend for Angus). I was strictly told by the children that I could not post it in case it got lost, and hand delivered it this morning! (Luckily it turns out we are quite nearby!)

‘Beau Bear’ has safely been delivered to keep Gill company in the meantime until Angus is back in tiptop condition 😬🧸💕🫶🏼

Gill was absolutely delighted to receive her package from the children and asked me to let them know she was so grateful for such a kind gesture. 🫶🏼💕
