As we head towards the end of this academic year I am taking time to reflect on my own ‘Bearing Up’ Journey this year… I moved to a new setting/school and took on the role of mentor to 2 fantastic newly qualified teachers. It has been a privilege to work with them and watch them grow and introduce Bearing Up to their classes!
I expanded our free resources to include a Nursery/P1 transition project that was sent out to over 60 schools across the UK. I’ve also reached out to other services who I think may benefit from our current book, bear and resources and have a few meetings pencilled in to discuss further.
I’ve also started work on 2 further books and I am collaborating with a number of people (including illustrators) and charities to bring these to life over the coming months/year and hope to share more info very soon about who these will support and how! 🥰
Remember everything is possible and must be created twice… first you must think it/dream it, then you must create it in the physical world.
